"World-renowned anthropologist and one of Africa's best known conservationist and campaigner Professor Richard Leakey is in London to give a lecture to the Royal Geographical Society.
"Dr. Leakey will be speaking tonight on the pressures placed upon Great Apes by global climate change.With his conservationist pedigree, Dr. Leakey in 1989 was made head of the Kenyan wildlife Service where he successfully saved the elephants from the hands of the poachers. Dr. Leakey is the guest of the Orangutan Foundation, will lecture on the dangers of environmental degradation and the dangers facing the Orangutans populations."
