Become a Guardian of the Lamandau Wildlife Reserve and actively protect:

  • 158,144 acres of tropical peat forest (one acre is the approximate size of a football pitch) in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo.

  • 600 critically endangered orangutans - a number which continues to increase as more are rescued and released

  • Thousands of threatened species including gibbons, pangolins, clouded leopards, sun bears and proboscis monkeys.

  • 36.5 million tonnes of stored carbon.

Donors who pledge £16.50 a month or a one-off donation of £200 for the year (the equivalent of 55p per day) will receive a welcome letter, an annual Guardian of the Lamandau Wildlife Reserve email update and the biannual Orangutan Foundation newsletter- Red Ape.
